Debra Stewart, St. Leonard Director of Wellness

Receives the

Cher Ami Award

The Cher Ami Award

At the Vital Life Community Certification Award Ceremony, held in Centerville, Ohio on the St. Leonard campus, Executive Director of the Vital Nation, Bill Witte, awarded Debra Stewart the "Cher Ami Award" for sacrifice, and unparalleled selfless service to others. This was the resultant in over a years worth of intense work aroudn the clock above the Call of Duty, in putting together an implementation program for St. Leonard during their Beta Community trial period.

During that time it was Stewarts responsibility to implement a program that previously was acedemic, although bits and pieces of it had been "tested" in various venues. St. Leonard was the community chosen to bring the Vital Life Wellness Program to life by implementing it into an existing community with an existing culture; and while it was not a culture change for a community that was already very active in every sense of the word, it was a new dimension of overlay, that needed implementation procedures and protocols developed and employed.
